Message from Imam

ASALAAM OE ALAYKOEM, beloved family and friends.

As we say farewell to 2022 and hello to 2023, let us not forget our Creator. Let not one evening spoil all our hard work. Through the grace of the Almighty, he has taken away lives and given us new ones as well. We are given another opportunity to worship Him and to thank him. We have more time to be in masjied, pray all our Awqaat, to give to the poor, to avail ourselves in helping those in need and just to recuperate from all our stresses. Dont spoil it today. Our new year started long ago and we as muslims prepare ourselves for Ramadan. A month of high intensity training. Pray to Allah to bless us, our children, our elders, those in the qoboor, those not doing well, our youth, our misguided, our innocent, our guilty, our weak, our strong and all of us. Stay away from garam. STAY AWAY FROM EVIL AND BAD. Avoid the whispering of Shaytaan and his lackeys. Spend time with families and be safe on the roads. We ask for so much of good from Allah, the One, the Only.

Masjied appeal regarding Offer to Purchase.

Salaam all.

Algamdulilah our masjied has put in an offer to purchase for a house in Roman Road, close to masjied.
We are in the process of carrying out various fundraising events. These include car washes, food sales, appeal letters, donations and a high tea in September inshAllah.

We appeal to everyone to assist us in this venture.
We have secured the masjied, and now we need to look after people that attend, as well as the broader community in general.
The new facility will be multi purpose, more than just a Solaah area, namely: a library, counseling office, classrooms, overflow area for masjied and a workshop venue for groups .

The pandemic has curtailed our plans. Algamdulilah we have the opportunity to reach our goal, as a place that looks after the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our fellow man, which will lead to becoming true IBAADUR RAGHMAAN…SLAVES OF THE MOST MERCIFUL.

Annual food fundraiser

Algamdulilah we are able to have our annual food fundraiser again. It will be on Sunday 29th May 2022 .
